1. Staircase
Statement staircases are some of the most dramatic pieces that you can own. If you have the space, you can invest in a sprawling marble staircase.
Even if you don’t, you can turn even the smallest staircase into a statement piece with a bit of painting and clever use of materials. 2. Coffee Table

If you need these items right now and don’t want to wait, head to vintage and thrift shops in your area. If there are garage sales, stop by them and see what you can find. You’ll be surprised at all the things people throw away!
4. Bar Counter
If you regularly host your friends for parties and have alcohol as a permanent feature at these parties, a statement bar counter is a perfect choice for you. There are three ways you could have a bar set up in your home. The first and most permanent option is to buy or build a table that looks like a bar, with counter space for making drinks. This is great if you have dedicated party spaces in your house.
The following two options are less permanent. You could assign one cupboard in your living room to be a bar counter. You could buy or build this cupboard, making sure it contains things like glass holders. Also you could invest in a rolling bar counter, much like a rolling table. These have doors that open up to reveal storage for bottles, glasses, and bar equipment like shakers.
5. Paintings
Paintings will always be the most iconic statement pieces anyone can own. Nothing starts a conversation like a statement piece. Thankfully, you don’t have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on paintings. Head down to your local art auction house or gallery and look through options by local artists.
Remember that art is an investment. Speak to the gallery manager and ask them about options in your budget. Remember that the art should match the aesthetic of your home. Thus, don’t buy modern art pieces that will clash with your outdoorsy decor. You might need to wait a few months to find the perfect piece. But trust us – it will be worth the wait!
