Remove the bottom oven panel
The heating coil of an electric oven is easy to replace. It is held in place by three screws: two near the front and one on the rear between the terminals. To remove the heating coil, loosen the screws on each side and carefully remove it from the oven. Disconnect the wires and inspect them for wear and corrosion. You can also use a thermometer to check the element’s temperature.
Unplug the oven first so that there is no electric current running through the baking element. Electric ovens with hidden elements can shock you if you try to remove them while plugged in. Disconnect the electricity

Connect the new heating element to the old heating element
To connect the new heating component to the old one, unplug the oven and locate the power outlet. Pull the old heating element out of the oven by its wires and place it where it should be. You should use two screws to secure it in place. If you are using an older model, the white heating insulation may come out with the old element, so push it back in. Then, plug in the oven’s power socket. If the new element is wired in, it may start to smoke slightly. That’s normal; the protective factory coating is burning off.
Once you have removed the mounting gear, the old heating element should come loose. Pull gently but carefully. There will still be two sets of wires attached to it. Carefully remove them. Make sure that the wires do not fall through the holes. If the wiring is exposed, disconnect the old heating element from the oven and discard it properly. You can replace the old heating element by following the steps listed above.
