If your washing machine’s agitator is stuck in the washing cycle, it may be time to remove it. There are several ways to remove the agitator from your washing machine. A plank works as a lever that will help you to remove the agitator. Just place the plank on the rim of the washing machine and pull the opposite part of the lever to pull up on the agitator. Gently raise the plank to release the agitator.
Unthread the mounting bolt securing the agitator to the drive shaft

Remove the agitator bolt
