The Great Things about a Coach Trip

Coach trips aren’t just for WI trips and they’re not just for your gran and granddad and the old man next door when they want to do a bit of Christmas shopping in an unknown city. They’re for everyone.

When you think of a holiday or a short getaway you’re likely to think of a holiday in the sun or a country retreat. You’ll have to travel, probably by boat, plane or car to you destination. You’d probably never have thought of a coach trip.

Putting all of your preconceptions aside coach holidays can be a great way to see a lot of places all in one go. They’re great value for money and you aren’t just restricted to the UK you can travel all over the world, you could go to Ireland, Europe, America and pretty much anywhere else on your way.

Coach trips

You don’t have to be going on holiday to jump on a coach; what about going to a football game? Many companies offer football tours where included in the price you pay is one nights accommodation and breakfast the next morning, the match ticket, your travel both ways (even if you have to get a ferry or plane as well, these are included) and usually you have a few hours to explore your destination.

Coach holidays are great value for money; the amount you pay usually covers all travel – by whatever means of transport – meals, hotel accommodation, entertainment and many excursions are also included in the price. By choosing a coach holiday you don’t have to do any of the work. You don’t go on holiday to drive for days on end, to cook your own meals and carry your own bags. You don’t have to do any of this on a coach holiday – wherever you go.

If you want to visit loads of fabulous cities but don’t know where to start coach trips would be a great idea for you. You get the chance to visit an abundance of places over a period but you have no chance of exhausting any of them so it gives you a great excuse to go back.

Coach trips help you reduce your carbon footprint. By hopping on board a coach you are significantly reducing the amount of pollution in the air; this is because a coach releases six times less pollution than a plane and because there are a lot of people travelling together it means that there are fewer emissions per passenger compared to any other vehicle.

Finally, coach trips are a great way to make friends. Although you are within a group of people, it is your holiday and you choose who you want to mix with. You choose what you want to do and when but you always know there’s someone there if you need them.
